Have you heard? Mission delivery training is happening now! And mission development training is slated for this spring.
Do you know how to connect with veterans and their families in your area? What if you aren’t near a local military installation? Perhaps you are wondering about the changes to membership eligibility. Maybe you just want to interact with members from other areas to see how they do things.
These are just a few of the things happening at mission delivery training, or Mission Training: 101. You will also learn more about National President Nicole’s special emphasis on the health and well-being of our veterans and their families. Guest speakers will talk about their experiences and share tips on how you can help.
If you are interested, there is one more mission training session scheduled for the 2019-2020 administrative year:
At the event, you will learn more about the programs, get answers to questions you may have, and make new friends. At the conclusion of the training, you will have a chance to meet National President Nicole or National Vice President Kathy Daudistel and participate in ALA trivia. Cupcakes will be supplied as we celebrate the 100th anniversary of the American Legion Auxiliary.
Mission development training, or Mission Training: 201, is designed to engage other ALA members and supporters in our mission and overcome common hurdles in mission delivery. Attendees should have a basic concept of mission delivery. Scheduled sessions:
